anyone know about modifying chrome? i'd like to raise the tabs and toolbar up so that users can use themes like Gaia 09 or the one i just made +1.

the developers of windows apps need to get with the program. glass stopped being hot shit 2 years ago.

on a related note, i really need solid confirmation of what does and doesn't work on x64 when using +1?

i use 7 ultimate sp1 7601 x32. is there any way to build a x64 compatible theme using a x32 system?

I really do wish Chrome was more customizable, seeing as how i use it mainly. But the themes we are presented with are just different colors, etc. Nothing really much is changed or changable in terms of graphic and different elements, like Firefox.

I am on Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64. The theme works wonders and seeing as you did +1 with the resources not the DLL files, that worked great for me. :D So just keep doing it that way.

I use Nightly (Firefox) 11.0a1 (2011-22-16) and it looks like crud because stylish doesn't work, etc (Only add-on I can actually use is Ad-Block). Once those are fixed it will be nice. :D I'm not saying you need to fix it, the Stylish creator does. O.o!!

it's good to know it's working right. i don't know why others are having problems.. maybe it's because i built it on sp1 and they haven't updated? i duno.

Could make it a reason.

Only answer for that would be for them to upgrade their Windows 7.

i guess it was because they all had shadows turned off, and i didn't finish the 'shadowless frames' because why the hell would you turn off the shadows? lol

They need to keep shadows on. Easy peasy.

Well usually if you use chrome in full screen that isn't a problem, to fix the problem in windowed mode I usually use a basic theme to where chrome will redesign the borders to match the browser theme regardless of what visual style you are using. As for making a theme for a 64 bit system while using a 32 bit system I don't think that is possible. In the past I've seen a lot of people had to make their own version of system files for a theme they wanted to use the b/c the developer only created the theme to be used with 32 bit systems (since that is what they were using) and not 64 bit. However, that should no longer be a problem for those that use CustoPack Tools to install their 3rd party themes. It automatically converts any system files to be compatible with the user's operating system.
