if you care about the future of litestep at all you need to pay attention now:

see that volume? it's toggleable with the bang !RainmeterToggle.
Further to this, it is integrated into litestep using the most current version of rainmeter.dll.
ALL the user needs is rainmeter.dll and win7audioplugin.dll, everthing else is controlled by my skin so like the calendar in yurusu it would appear to be a new solution to a horrible problem, but...

litestep doesn't recognize any meters from current rainmeter distributions. we need litestep to be updated. HOW?

also i'm not sure i fully understand your issue with litestep and the volume controls, but have you considered using nircmd.exe to control the volume by calling it through !execute bangs ?

Doesn't help me and I scoured all the major litestep sites for answers. Including that one.

I so want Litestep as my shell, I despise explorer. But until Litestep gets full Windows 7 x64 support, everyone on it is pretty much S.O.L. :(
