you do realize that if windowblinds had been freeware that you would be bigger than jesus right now right?
imagine if it had been free AND open source? windows would be based on the tech we all came up with. and stardock would be filthy filthy fucking rich. to bad they were selfish.
After migrating to Windows 7 I've almost given up on WB. Windows Style Builder may have less possibilities for skinning than WB (e.g. position of min/max/close buttons & windows title), but it seems far more suited to Win 7. Especially the font rendering in WB seems pretty terrible.
But of course, if you're going to dish up some sweet WB skins for Win 7 I might just reconsider...
it also boots faster, logs in faster, and litestep is wicked fast. everything's faster. it may simply be that i have an intel chipset on my laptop and not a speedy card so aero really drags. vista was pretty horrible and that's what they shipped with this thing. i'm considering selling this laptop on amazon and building a custom power house
