that's just about where i want it to be.
the window button shows startmenu on hover,
+ is sys tray popup,
message shows miranda,
sound shows a volume slider,
wifi shows the wifi select panel.

i'm going to do up a calendar for the clock to toggle soon enough.

unfortunately tasking in Nexus Dock is, questionable. (it shows current tasks, but they do not combine with their launcher. the launcher shows an indicator but will not minimize windows, nor does it have window functions on right click =()

those Icons at the bottom are they Jaku style? can I have a copy of the Google Chrome icon?

they're faenza. the chrome is called alternate faenza. it's a set of png + ico for windows. just do a search you'll find em =)

hmmm i guess this will be not very useable , exept there will be a cool new dock with tasks :/ or?

it is meant to fully replace the start menu/tray aspect of the taskbar. for the tasks themselves you'll have to use some kind of dock, or just use a bottom taskbar. but then that sorta defeats the purpose ;)
it's usable if you're me. if you're anything like me you might find some use for it. if not, meh =)

me too. =/ i duno why windows things it needs to cram so much crap into such a tiny space. there are far better ways to task, and while tasks work well with auto hide, i want my notifications perpetually visible. unity/gnome shell do it pretty well. the old slingshot/docky/wingpanel combo did it pretty well. but perhaps the worst part of windows is that dreadful more programs list. it's still just a tree/list that's hardly easy to access

btw i found a solution for the volume control in litestep - its called 3RVX - its working really well ;)
