(please note: The input boxes use system decorations... Meaning, they look like your os theme and won't look exactly
like the preview unless you happen to be using elementary gtk.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SET HOMEPAGE...
1: save the folder "Start" anywhere.

2: open home.htm with your favorite web browser.

3: when the browser opens, copy the url and using your browsers preferences set this url as your default home page.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR EDITING LINKS...
1: open home.htm with your favorite Text Editor (such as notepad)

2: scroll down untill you see the following block of code

(CHECK THE READ ME)

3: change the url locations to your favorite sites and change the names beside the url to match the site.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BACKGROUND COLOR...
1: open css.css with your favorite Text Editor (such as notepad)

2: hit ctrl+f to search text with in the file

3: search for #dcdcdc

4: replace every instance of the text #dcdcdc with the color of your choice (example: #ffffff or #000000)
(you can find "hex color codes" on google.)

Fella Start Page by ~Aaron-A-Arts is a custom start page that can be used in any browser on any platform. so, no matter if you're on linux, windows or mac and no matter if you use firefox, opera, chrome, safari or what they're all called .. you can easily set this as your start page by simply following the provided instructions. the links are editable to your liking and Fella will always be there telling you that "Out there be Monsters!". now, how cool is that?

i tried to modify your start page and am encountering an issue that i cannot solve by myself. i wanted to use another background image.
this is how far i've come:

you should make the panel that says "this is what we live for" a png with transparency on the edges that way it sits right on the background no matter how its positioned

the panel is a modified version of the "flowers.png" you used. i simply edited the text and logo...

could i send you the zipped folder so you can have a look at it? because i barely know the basics... :/
