I fed up with all the modified themes.
This is my favourite one, pure art. But the disable blur doesnt work quite well so the window frame is ugly.
i must admit that Windows 7 Basic theme is the best choice.

Sorry, cannot bring this to work. I copied the themefiles and the folders into windows->theme-folder, but nothing happens. And I have to agree to solmiller, calling them classic2 to 17 and naming the msstyle inside the folder style (17 times) is a bit annoying. These names say nothing about their look.

Pls help.

lol what would you have me say? i can't name the file classictheonewithredandblackandwhite.msstyle =p

to use windows themes you have to first hack the theme system that good old bill locked down in an attempt to monetize themes waaaaaay back when it still wasn't his idea. you might be able to do this on a company pc but i wouldn't recommend it. if they're virtual don't even try ;)

Hey, thanks for your quick reply. I hacked the theme system right after the install ;-) All themes work properly (see my account) only yours as the only one isn't working.

As name you might wish to use "classic", "clgrey" "clred" asf. :D

hmmm that's strange. use the theme files in the resources folder. like the msstyles should be in a sub directory that you don't really need to mess with and the theme files on top should show in the personalize dialog. i've migrated to linux ubuntu so i won't be updating any of my windows theme ;)

Really love the theme, but there are small issues with compatibility with IE9 and FF4. Also, the biggest problem, and most urgently in need of a fix, is that when I 'enable small icons' the taskbar still remains the same size (double what it should be). It does go to the correct size when I lock the taskbar to the top of the screen, but I really prefer the taskbar to be at the bottom... if you could fix the taskbar issue asap that would be great ;)
